As you can see i have been gigging a lot this month with some great players and great bands. This shot was taken at the Greenwhich Naval College (which is a stunning location) with a great band fronted by my good friend James McMaster called the BEATNICKS, we had a great time and rocked it out pretty hard. I have also been out with my regular band FIREFLY and also depped with a great band ROCKET which saw me play a very late and loud sweaty gig in Soho. The boys were really cool and we had a great gig so thanks guys. I have also had a couple of great gigs with my Funk Soul band SOUL GRENADE and we have a gig coming up at the Elxir bar in Euston on the 14th of November. We are also going in the recording studio in November so i will keep you updated with any info about that.

I have all ways loved country music and country guitar players (go check out Brent Mason & Johnny Hiland) so jumped at the chance to start playing and writing with fantastic country singer by the name of Jeannine Barry. Its early days but the gig dates are up on her website so come down and show your support for all things country.

@The Studio

I am very pleased to announce that all my students passed their Trinity Music College Guitar Grades with flying colour’s. Its great for students to see the rewards for their hard work and practice and to achieve the goals that they have set them selves. Here is one of my students Ella Pettitt with her Grade 2 certificate. Well done Ella!!!

I have a few vacant teaching slots available at the studio still so do please get in touch if you would like some more information about it or have any questions.

@ THE STUDIO. . .

This month the studio has been very busy as i have had several new students starting there lessons. I find that the first lesson is a great oppurtunity to discuss with students what there aims are from their playing and to help them set some realistic acheivable goals. Some students have never picked up a guitar and others have played for years and are just after a little help learning some new skills or working on the ones they all ready have so it is an important part of the guitar lessons to make sure that they are acheving what they want .

I recently received my stduents exam results from the Trinity School of Music and am very pleased to announce they all passed with Merit or Distinction. Exams (for some) are a great way to develop on your instrument and students really feel they are progressing when they receive there exam certificates (pictures to follow soon) so i wanted to congratulate them all for their hard work.

With the new academic year fast approaching i would like to remind you that i have a few avaliable slots on my teaching register so if you know of anyone who would like to start please get them to contact me, details are at the bottom of the page.
