Bromley Concert Chorus Christmas Gig

A very Happy New Year to you all i hope you had a wonderful Christmas and am as stuffed and well rested as my self. I had a great Christmas catching up with family and friends and got some brilliant presents and been out gigging.

Christmas kicked off with a great double concert featuring the London Concert Chorus conducted by George Tormann and featuring the delightful Jonathan Cohen on piano and organ. The concert was great fun and is all in aid of Bromley Mind charity which helps people with mental health issues in and around Bromley and Lewisham and this year they managed to raise £6000 so massive congrats to them all. Thanks to Kevin Sloane on bass and Chris Persiva on drums for a brilliant gig. Here is a link to the great work that Bromley Mind does, https://www.blmind.org.uk.

As well as eating far to much and drinking excessive amounts of red wine I  was out rocking with Firefly for some Christmas gigs featuring miss Rosanna Colcough on vocals who I had the pleasure of also sharing my New Years Eve Gig with.

Happy New Years!!!

@The Studio

The studio is as busy as ever with everyone practicing hard for their Trinity  grades that happen in December. The results are due any day now and some students are all ready practicing for their next grade in spring of this year.

Last year I gave the option of students having lessonS at their home and I am pleased to say the that the trial period has gone very well. Having lessons at home gives you the option to have the lesson at a time that fits in with your diary as well as meaning you can have the lesson in an environment you feel comfortable in. If you are interested in lessons please get in touch as there are places available for all times of the week.

Right I’m off to the gym!.

Thanks

Keir
